I thought he was ok when he came on, not easy when Cole strays offside when in a great position. If Cole stays on then that's a great ball that we should score from and there would be a thread asking why he didn't start.

All about opinions I guess.
personally I'm happy with him getting 2 years based on his performances this season. As we have seen this year our squad depth is very poor, just look at yesterday's bench.
However we aren't just going to go out and get another 12 players. If we can get another 4 or 5 players better than what we have and that means Morgan is he worst of our sub players rather than the best as he was yesterday then great. I think it'll be another couple of years before he is t good enough to be on our bench - and that's if we recruit right which invariably we don't

That's not what I'm saying at all. I said that he wasn't worthy of a new 2 year deal. He can't get in the side now and once we have bought new players in in the summer nd most likely a new manager, where will he be then? Nowhere in sight is the answer. Fact is Morgan has done well pretty much every game he has played this season, so even if he goes on to have a bad season next it still doesn't prove he shouldn't have been in the team this season.

I was sitting next to my eldest and he said "well dad we don't deserve anything out of this we have been awful but it's over and we've got lucky for......"and then came the inevitable.
Allardyce don't care anymore and it's obvious there's something not right we were dreadful today,cluless, and barely got out of our own half after we scored,Ginge was the only player that bothered.
We have all seen dark days over the years.our recent decline after such a promising start is not what I saw coming.
Allardyce is a fool to be so arrogant to mock the hand that feeds him.He is incapable of rising above a bit of abuse,he has to go.
Us and him will never see eye to eye the sooner he goes the better.

PD. You don't think Cole is good enough to be a reserve, yet FIVE West Ham managers (six if you count Keen) thought he was good enough to start. Yeah, I'm sure you're right.
There are a lot of people on here who watch West Ham that think Amalfitano should start. To suggest he shouldn't even be in the squad is mental - another thing to add to your long list of embarrassments on here. You're genuinely deluded if you think we're in a position where we should have better squad players.
I get what you're saying about quality of player etc, and I agree - but in the real world middling Clubs like us have got players like Cole. He's not good, but we're not Man City. The blokes we would hope never get on the pitch aren't going to be all that.
